Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi is a quintessential leader, technocrat and transformation expert that has left an indelible mark on the Nigerian IT ecosystem and sub-sector. He is a professional strategist and dynamic IT professional with key competencies that cut across growth management, policy formulation, solutions architecture, resource mobilization and strategy implementation.

With nearly 2 decades of experience in the public and private IT space, Mr Inuwa is a trailblazer, whose contributions and initiatives have helped develop and forge a world-class IT industry in Nigeria. He is credited with leading explosive growth in the development of IT infrastructure, digital transformation, use of local & indigenous IT content, as well as innovation, entrepreneurship and regulations.

Mr Inuwa helped the Nigerian government transition into a digital economy and cashless society through his work at the CBN and NITDA. His proven track record of excellence in leadership and administration remains unmatched, and he is no doubt, one of the few maestro-minds and commanding figures that have shaped Nigeria’s IT industry in the last decade. 

He is the current Director-General/CEO of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, Nigeria’s apex IT regulatory and development Agency.
